SPECIAL EMPHASIS |
In this research program, we will introduce the necessary background for conducting research in the fields of quantum information and computation. For physical realizations we will focus on qubits in quantum optics and in superconductors. We will investigate realization of basic logical operations on such physical systems as well as implementation of different quantum algorithms. Other topics include quantum cryptography, quantum control, precision measurements. |
